Our Vision

Excellence in the testing and evaluation of agricultural and fisheries machinery in the Philippines —devoted to serving the agricultural and fishery sectors in the country towards development— with world-class facilities and international stature.

Our Mission

To actively contribute to the country’s mechanization efforts by testing agricultural and fisheries machinery through conducting quality laboratory and field tests, evaluating tests results using rational criteria, actively participating in the development of performance standards and test procedures, and conducting training and information dissemination to capacitate stakeholders.

Goal Statement

AMTEC aims to promote a self-reliant agricultural and fisheries machinery industry that would cater to and safeguard the interests of Filipino farmers and fisher folks.

AMTEC Staff

From approximately 10 employees back in 1977 during its establishment, AMTEC has continually grown in terms of its services, manpower, and facilities. At present, AMTEC has 47 employees serving its primary stakeholders – the farmers and fisherfolks, the government, and the private machinery sector.
